Episode 3 - Morbid Blade with a Cute Smile is the third studio album by Marco Simmer, otherwise known as the "Devil Child". It was his first and only recording that was released through the underground label Metropolis Records. The album was released on June 10, 2014.

In contrast to the last two efforts, Morbid Blade with a Cute Smile is produced by Simmer himself. Stylistically, many of the songs on the album pay homage to acts such as A Tribe Called Quest, Nine Inch Nails, and Massive Attack. The album consistently feature elements of alternative hip hop, chiptune, electro funk, and industrial-driven dance music. Therefore, it is nowhere near as diverse as Simmer's previous outing, The Ones Who Foretold; however, the former's lead single also has a prominent alternative metal influence, whilst "Blue During the Night" implements noticeable trip hop and big beat sounds.

Morbid Blade with a Cute Smile happens to primarily be a concept album, which tells the narrative of a female serial killer who has grown tired of brutality and wants nothing more than to be with a drifter who felt ostracized his entire life.
